National Geographic Greenlights Global Documentary Series from Award-Winning Journalist Katie Couric

National Geographic and Couric are Reuniting for a Six-Part Documentary Series From Katie Couric Media to Air Spring 2018 Following the Success Of the Critically Acclaimed Collaboration with Couric on Gender Revolution

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--National Geographic announced today the greenlight of a six-part documentary series featuring Katie Couric, produced by Katie Couric Media with National Geographic Studios. Inspired by her own personal journey of making National Geographic’s critically acclaimed, groundbreaking documentary Gender Revolution (2017), the new untitled series will follow Couric as she talks with thought leaders who are shaping the most pivotal, contentious and oftentimes confusing topics across the globe today. The boundary-pushing series will premiere in 2018 on National Geographic in 171 countries and 45 languages.
