Now broadcast in more than 72 countries, “Shark Week” is referenced often in pop culture and across social media, and since 2010, it has been the longest-running cable television programming event in history.

“‘Shark Week’ is a television sensation,” Fathom Events Vice President of Programming Kymberli Frueh said. “This wildly-popular program will now head to the big screen, where fans can see every detail in full scale. We are thrilled to be partnering with Discovery Channel to premiere this content on cinema screens nationwide.”
