PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2017 featured the presentation of the fifth annual award for “Favorite Humanitarian,” presented by Enterprise Rent-A-Car, to Tyler Perry. In support of Perry’s tireless efforts to help those in need, Enterprise is donating $100,000 to Perry’s charity of choice, the Global Medical Relief Fund for Children. Past winners of this award include Sandra Bullock in 2013, Jennifer Hudson in 2014, Ben Affleck in 2015 and Ellen DeGeneres in 2016.

Waterford, a heritage brand that is at the center of some of the world’s most beautiful and thrilling celebrations, is the maker of the 2017 People’s Choice Awards. For eight years, Waterford craftsmen in Ireland have designed and hand-sculpted these bespoke crystal trophies that sparkle in the hands of each talented winner. This year, Waterford has also created two uniquely shaped trophies with striking Waterford cutting on top and a burst of dazzling color for the “Favorite Humanitarian” and “Favorite Movie Icon” categories. Tyler Perry’s “Favorite Humanitarian” award features a pop of crimson color on the crystal, while Johnny Depp’s “Favorite Movie Icon” award has a dramatic touch of Sapphire Blue in the center of the crystal flame.
